Windows XP to 10 upgrade
Is there an upgrade path from Windows XP to 10 pro? Or it is even possible?
If possible, are all the applications need to be reinstalled? Now its complaining about the space on my old desktop. But even if I clear a space - will it install?

Meltdown require BIOS updates and if the machine is older than 5 years, forget that and replace the machine.

It is not meltdown but spectre2. And It's not about 5 years but about models (which are often much older but will still get patches).
But the thought needs to be considered, if security matters.
