SQL virtual machines and VMware ESXi host configuration

Looking to reorganise SQL servers, there a mix of 2003 2008 and 2012 servers all virtual machines

Approx 65 in total there is a datacentre migration from 5.5 to 6.5 so its half and half at present

Is there guidelines for SQL virtual machines and ESXi host configuration , any other guidelines I would need to be aware for organising SQL machines in vCenter

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
