Remove Highlight from Table inside Outlook

I had this question after viewing Cannot remove highlight text in email.

I am unable to remove highlighted sections of a table that is in an emailed document.  I cut/paste the table into a Word document but was still unable to remove the highlighted sections.  I had to retype the document which was ridiculous.  There has to be a way to delete color from affected sections.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks.  Chaplyn

The table may have been in HTML which is why you couldn't remove it even in Word. I would copy into notepad and that will remove the highlight and then paste it back where ever you choose.

Can you attach the original, please?

Without seeing it, It is hard to guess what the problem is.

MS Word can open and work with an  HTML document, and save it as such, if necessary. If it is  simply a picture, then you would certainly have to re-type the text, or put it through an OCR application.

A copy/paste to Notes removed the highlighted section.  I then copied it back into Word.  Thanks for your response.
