VOIP traffic is dropping
Hello,
I've a 100mbps L2VPN link to connect two locations in an urban environment. The link utilization is less than 50% and the VOIP traffic is still dropping.
Both sides are connected to L3 switches with QOS policies.
Is there any tweak to overcome this situation.
Thanks,
Chanaka

Problem unclear
When you say VOIP traffic is dropping, is it calls cutting off while on the conversation? Or you cannot take calls at all?
Is it happening both in incoming and outgoing calls?
What happens to your internet connection when this happens?
What's the VOIP device you are using? If PBX, is this happening with internal calls as well?

Side note: I expect we'll see more of this type of problem as "net neutrality" goes away. ISPs will relegate traffic that doesn't pay the carrier to "if, as and when bandwidth is unused."
