SCCM package (.exe) made for just with windows updates?? Run Manually.

Hello SCCM guru's!

We have over 10,000's workstations across the region. Most of which are connected to SCCm 2012 R2, but some are not.

For those that are not, they do not have Internet Access. So, we would like to package up an SCCM package with the latest Windows updates and copy them manually and run them manually on those workstations that do not have SCCM clients.

How can we accomplish this with SCCM 2012 R2 with the latest build?

Thank you for your assistance!

You can use CMG (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sccm/core/clients/manage/cmg/plan-cloud-management-gateway), however, you will need to move to Current Branch.  Assuming you want to move to Windows 10, you will need to move to Current Branch sooner rather than later.

Unfortunately that doesn't work for us. We do not have internet access to use the CMG.

We are on the latest branch, but we don't have internet access, so I need a method to package up the latest MS Updates into an .EXE or other type package I can manually use on workstations.

Any ideas?

I missed the part where they don't have Internet access, so let me back up.

When you say you don't have Internet access, are you referring to the computers that don't have SCCM?

Do the computers without the SCCM client have ANY network connectivity back to corporate HQ?

Yes, they do have fully connectivity back to the SCCM (Corp HQ), but are not part of the AD domain (and thus, not in SCCM). They just don't have internet access, nor do the SCCM boxes. We're hoping to download the windows patches from SCCM into an .EXE or something so that we can manually install them on those particular machines.

I've read once where this was done (years ago), but cannot find anything (yet) on the process.

Any ideas?

Thank you for your assistance!
