DB2 Read-only scale out operation

do DB2 support Read only scale out, like there are a group of DB2 server for READ -ONLY purpose, DB2 will route all read0 only request over those nodes and the read only only scale out between read only nodes?

Yes, you can have Replication created to get a Read only database for Reporting needs which should be assigned for Reporting requirements at the Application level and not at DB2 level.

Raja Jegan R,

" and not at DB2 level."

This means not setup at DB2 level at all and all handled by application tier ? I think the DB2 has to setup sth to make it happen, right? just like Oracle and MS SQL AOG, they all have to do sth and the only thing application has to do is to setup a connection string using the connector as the server.

"Yes, you can have Replication created to get a Read only database for Reporting needs"

that replication need cost ? separate data guard license like Oracle which each Oracle DB host needs a data guard license ?
