you can go for  Data Server Manager (DSM)  which is another product of IBM which can monitor DB2 server in Onpremises as well. Monitoring process is real time.

"hopefully this should work"

hi man, you mean you never use this tools and not sure if this work for DB2?
I'm sure that it will work, rather than any other thirdpary tools
ok.

but you never use it. tks.
are you using cloud for your DB2 ? what cloud you use and why ?
NO , we are using Mysql and redshift
MySQL is good?

very unstable for me.
specially once Oracle buy it.

what is redshift for ?
We use mariaDB as well which is fully stable and working fine for US.

Redshift is a fully managed, petabyte-scale data warehouse service in the cloud. ... Regardless of the size of the data set, Amazon Redshift offers fast query performance using the same SQL-based tools and business intelligence applications that you use today.
"Redshift is a fully managed, petabyte-scale data warehouse service in the cloud. ... Regardless of the size of the data set,"

so you guys use cloud DB ? why not oracle or MS SQL ? because it is fully managed? and no need DBA at all ?

"We use mariaDB as well which is fully stable and working fine for US."

on linux, right? any incident like file corruption ?  here , MySQL from time to time see this! that's why Oracle 18c has a AI feature to detect this and fix it for us.

No in aws RDS,

"so you guys use cloud DB ? why not oracle or MS SQL ? because it is fully managed? and no need DBA at all ?"

We need high performance while for a bulk of data , so we choosen Redshift for that including analytics, For normal application we use AWS RDS(mariaDB)
" For normal application we use AWS RDS(mariaDB)"

by this mean, is that mean MariaDB setup by  Amazon and you all just connect ?

"No in aws RDS, "

what files system they use ?

it seems all cloud service setup DB for customer and customer just connect ?
by this mean, is that mean MariaDB setup by  Amazon and you all just connect ?

Application needs connect. So we use this, Setup is done by AWS, There is a option like parameter groups where we can configure enable slow query etc.,

AWS RDS will not provide superadmin access to mysql database , hence configuring master-master replication like features are not available.
" So we use this, Setup is done by AWS,
"

so this also means for all cloud DB provider, they setup the DB server for us and we just upload data and manage it ?

"AWS RDS will not provide superadmin access to mysql database "

tha'ts why MariaDB can't offer support on it and they don't access right ! then how about MariaDB's galery cluster ?, can be setup on the cloud ?

how about Oracle RAC, this is not going to setup on AWS RDS ? no need at all for multi master ?
