ubuntu 16.04 login ask 2 times passwd
ubuntu 16.04 ask always to times for password. How to disable that?
that probably is because you have multiple authentication modules active in PAM.
Where a password is asked and if the next method is used it is declared with try_first_pass instead of use_first_pass.
With try you may get another prompt for the 2nd one.
f.e. ldap & kerberos & unix logon are configured, kerberos not initialised , the password for ldap fails..., also doesn't match
kerberos password ==> kerberos askes new password and fails... then #3 is activated and the first or 2nd does work... and you get logged on.
Either fix the logins or remove a method from the system.

Thank you noci,'
It was in pam.d/common_password.
It's not acceptable to write command after " #end of pam-auth-update config "
i just move my manual command before this line and it's working now.

You can use '#some random comment...' only the # should be in column 1
