Office2010 VLK activation failure
I’m having an issue activating an Office 2010 VLK on a Surface for a customer so any thoughts appreciated. This key has worked on previous builds, just failing on this one with error code 0x8002232B. Solutions attempted [and failed] so far are below. Next option seems to be restoring the default security settings in the Surface and possibly disabling GPO but I’ appreciate some thoughts first.
Change the product key to a MAK
slmgr -ipk XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XX
icacls C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\O
Change registry key below to 1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWAR
Ran the following:
>cscript ospp.vbs /act

Did this have any other versions of office installed before?

There's no evidence of anything other than Microsoft Office Standard 2010 (32 bit) with Service Pack 2 having been installed.
When you attempt to activate ,are you doing it as an admin?
I've had activation failure if I don't run the an office app using a "run as" admin when attempting to activate office.
Power user doesn't work.

Thanks for the suggestion but I've tried 'run as' admin, unfortunately without success.
Do you have free activations within the VLK Portal?
