RS232 - you need to connect the RX/TX lines (you need to connect RX of 1 to TX of the other and vice versa to create a null modem cable) on the computer you need to open the comm port and set its properties baud rate i.e. 9600 8N1.. you need a program i.e. a terminal connected to the comm port i.e. com1: this way you can check the communication between the 2 devices.. you now then need to create a program that will act on the received data
