I have a question about Azure Ad connect<br />

I &nbsp;am helping a customer to setup the &nbsp;hybrid architecture and i want to know how the filtering option of Azure Ad Connect works . The customer want to setup 100 users for the begining and 500 users remin On premises for the moment<br />
so should i filter for a domain or Group of 100 users<br />
<br />
and if i synchronise only the 100 users will the Global adress list contains all the users when thos mailbox will be on Office 365?<br />
