Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus Encryption?

Hello, I'm trying to encrypt the internal storage of my Galaxy S9 Plus, uses VZW.  In settings the only option is to encrypt an SD Card.  I've contacted Samsung Support, they were useless bounced me around from department to department until i got disconnected.  My company uses AiWatch for corparate email on mobile devices, they recommended a Samsung phone because it has Knox, or an iPhone.  In order for my device to be compliant it needs to be encrypted.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

By default Android OS has an encryption feature which encrypts the on-board storage.

Thank You, this issue was resolved.  It took AirWatch a really long time to realize that the phone was encrypted.  Thanks for your comment
