Loopback adapter and Disabling Ethernet
i have an application to test for its performance. I need to take the windows7 m/c where the application is installed outside the network.
I have the licenses and license servers running locally.
Scenario 1 to disconnect from the network:
I unplug the ethernet cable.
Outcome- everything works file and the application is set running.
Scenario 2(Actual Problem): I disable the Ethernet from Windows adapter settings.
Outcome: Application does not start and throws a license server error.
Can someone help me understand how to keep the loopback adapter running even after disabling the ethernet from adapter settings.
