filter results in outlook are different when sorting by date and recipient.
I have outlook 365 and when I sort my sent emails by receipient I do not get the same results as I do when I sort by date. Why is this?

Buy why is it normal? If I want to see ALL emails from 123@abc.com it should show all of them in the sent folder. Why would I have to choose a date range to see some of them? You can see on the screenshots that it jumps from 5/11 to 5/21 on the results determined by recipient filter. The email I was looking for was on 5/18. It's not there. Why would it skip this in the recipeint filter but not the date range filter?

Explains how to sort emails to see all of them in correct order.
It is pretty normal to find different results sorting emails by date or by receipient, Outlook and in the opposite of gmail for example don't list results in groups.
