Can you block the store in windows 10 pro via GPO?

Is there a way to block users from using the Store in Windows 10 pro?

It's officially only an enterprise feature, not a pro feature. McKnife proposes thebcidrentbllynknown workaround, but I'd not bet on it surviving future updates.  And it'd be painful to find out the store reappeared on machines you wanted locked down. If you really need that level of lock down, I strongly recommend just biting the bullet and going enterprise.

Actually I found the SRP to work pretty well once I got the correct format for blocking the store path etc.
I wouldn't rely on that either. For basically the same reason I wouldn't rely on other workarounds.

SRP is officially deprecated as of 1803 and like many deprecated features, will likely be removed in a future version. With applocker already a viable replacement (and also an enterprise only feature) Microsoft has little incentive to keep it around, unlike some deprecated features that have broad deployment and large customer investment. I'd bet on it going away sooner than later.

Thanks a lot!  I appreciate that feedback about SRP.  I didn't know that and I am starting to really dislike the software model that MS is employing.  Doesn't really surprise me though.
