Yes, a version 2007 of access and 2016 version of excel is installed. Opened the accdb version and checked references, no missing references were found.

Maybe there are no missing references but references that shouldn't &nbsp;be there...<br />
Can you give us a screenshot of your references<br />
along with the method that produces the error.<br />
Also check this <a href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/245115/using-early-binding-and-late-binding-in-automation" rel="ugc">article </a>on Early Binding/Late Binding....if you are using Early Binding switch to Late ....and the problem should be resolved

The customer has upgrade msAccess to the same version as the Office version and the problem has been resolved without having to update the msAccess application.<br />
