Configuration issue in Netgear Nighthawk X10

We have purchased a Netgear Nighthawk X10 ad700 model R900 router and we are unable to use it.
The issue is when we configure the router, they are getting connected but then they are automatically getting reset within an hour. we are not able to configure again for the day.
Can someone help us to sort out this issue?

Try resetting it to factory, updating the firmware to the latest version, then setting it up again. Also make sure that you don't allow it to be remotely administered AND that you change the password from the default.

If that doesn't help, try restarting your modem. If that still doesn't work then you most likely have an issue with bad hardware or your internet. Between these two, it would be easier to try exchanging the router first.
