I on the VM Player got into the command prompt  under the vmware directory tried the command vdisk-manager.exe
it is not recognised under VMWARE directory or VMWare\ WMWare Tools

I tried running as well vmware-vdiskmanager with the option -x <80>[GB] for 80 gb size increase, under vmware directory and vmware\vmware tools directory

any other suggestions?  I have added a snapshot of the directory I have

Hi Andrew, I the problem I have with this install, is under the C:\Program Files\VMware, I only the directory VMwareTools, hence the command vmware.

C:/Program Files/VMware/VMware Server/vmware-vdiskmanager.exe" -x 80GB   - invalid path
C:/Program Files/VMware/ VMWare Tools/vmware-vdiskmanager.exe" -x 80GB  - vmware-vdiskmanager.exe not recognized
C:/Program Files/VMware/vmware-vdiskmanager.exe" -x 80GB      - vmware-vdiskmanager.exe not recognized as an internal or external command

It seems this vmware workstation player only installed with VMtools
