Will new graphics card support three monitors

I'm looking to upgrade to a new graphics card that will support three monitors. I currently have a Dell Precision T5400 with a NVidia GeForce GT 610 display adapter. I'm looking at the following graphics card. The GeForce GTX 1050 shows it will support three monitors. I wanted to ask some experts if this card would work with the Dell Precision T5400 and support the following three monitors: Dell UltraSharp 24" - U2412M.

The 3 ports are 1 DVI, 1 HDMI and 1 Display port, so am I correct that I would need three different cables to connect to the monitors? The monitors show that it has the following ports:
DVI-D, VGA, DisplayPort, so I would need one adapter that goes from HDMI to DVI or Display Port, correct? Are there any concerns about this graphics card supporting three monitors  or working in an older system like I have?

I'm planning on upgrading my system, but need to do it one piece at a time so I'm just trying to get the new monitors first.

Thanks.

Best to purchase a card that has three HDMI ports or exclusively HDMI and DisplayPort ports, instead of trying to jury-rig three different ports.

DVI is now fairly obsolete, it does not perform as well as HDMI or DisplayPort, and -- worse -- it is often DVI analog instead of DVI digital, resulting in poor image quality.

Any recommendation on a graphics card that has HDMI or Display Ports exclusively that supports three monitors that would work in a PCI Express card slot that is currently in use by the NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 graphics card?

Thanks for the links to the various graphics card. I'm not opposed to a AMD product. Would there be anything that I should consider with one of Radeon (AMD) graphic cards that would cause it to not work as far as compatibility is concerned?
Thank you for the links, it's very interesting.
AMD Radeon cards are compatible with any Windows PC, most linux PCs, and will handle any HDMI monitor.  Some newer models have DisplayPort sockets rather than HDMI, but DisplayPort supports HDMI with an inexpensive adapter.

Thank you for the information and links to the graphics card!
