Hard drive recovery on Macbook Pro

MacBook Pro A1502 got extensive water damage.  MacBook won't start/power.
I am not familiar with Apple hardware.  Trying to recover data from HDD.  I understand this is a flash storage drive?
What kind of interface is that and is there a recovery tools similar to IDE or SATA interfaces, where you can connect/dock it via USB and attach to another device.  Or is there another method for Macs?

Please advice.  Thanks~!!
