Exchange server 2016 installation on server 2012 r2 encounters errors and will not install

Exchange server 2016 attempted installation failed several times.  I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, deleting and just about everything I could think of.  I have followed the prerequisites and never missed anything,  I have attached an exchange.log file that might shed light on what is wrong.  Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I have looked part of the log file and still looking.  Which guide did you use to prep the server?

Have a look at this guide: http://www.mustbegeek.com/install-exchange-2016-in-windows-server-2012-r2/

Can you confirm each step was done?

@wayne88  I used one that is somewhat similar.  Your suggested link seems to be a much better guide.  Can I uninstall the whole thing and start from scratch again, or is there a way to salvage this installation?
This server is joined to a 2012 r2 DC.
the issue isn't the link it's the misspelling of words. schema.
Normally I would have a backup image prior to installing Exchange.  If an installation goes wrong I would attempt the reinstall from the backup image.  I find this cleaner and much faster than waiting for Exchange to uninstall.

You should be able to uninstall then attempt a reinstall.

Try Tim's suggestion first because you did mispelled "schema"
@timgreen7077  I understand.  However, because I tried to do a recovery, WHICH FAILED, it is not allowing me to do another installation.
I just want to know if it would be wise to just delete the whole thing and start all over again.
@wayne88  I will try the uninstall and see what happens.  Thank you
By the way, do you have any other roles on that server running such as AD, DC, etc? Installing Exchange on a domain controller is not recommended
@wayne88  No, I do not have AD DC installed.
@wayne88 Because I did a "DisasterRecovery", it is now not allowing me to uninstall Exchange.
Osei, I am afraid this is very messy without backups.  Is this the only Exchange server?

Here is why it's messy and I always make a backup image of the server before installing Exchange.  Note the link is NOT for Exchange 2016.

@Wayne88 It is actually my first and only Exchange server.  A new installation.

@Wayne88  Thank you, I truly dreaded this since I am a little squeezed for time.  I really appreciate it.
Sorry, typo:

This will be faster for you because even after UNinstalling Exchange manually it doesn't guarantee that you will not have problems when trying to reinstall it because there are still remnants from previous Exchange install.

You're welcome but uninstalling Exchange manually wouldn't make sense in your case.
@Wayne88 Thank you.  Great suggestion.
I am glad to help Osei and good luck!
I have decided to start over from scratch.  Your suggestions and advice have been helpful. Than you
Glad to help and thanks for getting back. Cheers!
