My first question in 1997 Anyone else on EE longer than me?

Hello EVERYONE

I wonder if ANYONE has been on Experts Exchange as long as I have.
My first question was on April 4, 1997. Over 20 yeas ago.  Can you believe it!

Here's a link to that first question:  "Unwanted mouse grouping"   https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/10007346/Unwanted-mouse-grouping.html

I'm amazed that question is still in the EE System!   I've had 1,293 questions during that time!

From way back when it was Expert Sexchange (before they added the hyphen)?  I'd seen the site way back then, but didn't become a contributor until a few years ago.
Hi Rowby!

Anyone else on EE longer than me?
I looked in search and found this question.  It looks like its the oldest one here!
https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/10000001/Case-sensitivite-Win31-HTML-Editor.html

Are they still active member?  No.  So, you might be the the longest active member with the oldest question!?  :)
That's still pretty incredible.  Thanks for sharing!
My first question was back in September of 2007, but I was a member for a year or before that too..

What do I win? LoL!  :-)

Regards, Andrew
Hello Rowby,

I have been here since 2008. I have asked a small number of questions, written more articles than questions and answered 17,000 questions since 2008.

Most people here do not understand my colloquialisms but I have pedaled away at the same rate daily all that time.

really cant believe i've been member coming up on 18 years!!

I can feel the grey hairs growing.
Hey, let's keep this question open for another 20 years?

If not possible --  then go ahead and close it \

And divide any points among everyone -- but me :)

Thanks!

Rowby
You cannot leave a question of any kind her open for a year or more. That is why it is being closed.

You can't?
I see no harm in letting this question be an exception to the current closure rule. In fact we have been discussing this sort of thing here https://www.experts-exchange.com/discussions/220286/Addressing-some-of-the-issues-facing-Q-A.html#c2112470

Let it ride!
Hee hee   Sounds good to me :)

EE seems to conflict with practical reality around here. The question should use normal rules. EE is getting in the way everywhere I go here.
Hi Rowby, You have had some interesting questions topics I remember answering. 1997 seems like yesterday.
Yes, Scott -- looking back I am amazed at the range of questions I have asked here.   And, indeed you have answered so many of them.

This question needs an answer!
