WSUS updates issue

Screens.rtf

We have a WSUS server issue.  In short, there are computers that are showing "critical" updates that are "needed", yet when we look in the UPDATES view, and try to filter by "Critical updates" that show status of "unapproved", there are none.  Not sure what is causing this anomaly. It's a 2012 Server, with the latest WSUS version.

Thanks for your reply.  Take a look at the screenshots I attached, if you would.  I'm curious why when I click on the "updates needed" link of a computer, and view the "Update detailed status report", and then click on a critical update in the status column where it shows "Not approved", it shows "Install" for that update under my "Clients" group.  Seems incongruent, doesn't it? Do you see what I mean there?

Thanks
The screen shots are unreadable.  Looks like you uploaded it as an RTF instead of whatever graphic format you originally used.
Screenshots are unreadable. From what I understand you have to perform the install: check on the client wether it shiws the update as installed or not. Have you defined auto install in the wsus GPO? More info here

yes - defined auto install in GPO.  now I'm seeing updates that I set to "Install" last night, revert back to "Not approved".  its some strange VooDoo going on, and not sure what.  Don't know that I'll get this figured out quickly here.  thanks for your help guys.
