Samsung 860 SSD won't boot
Lenovo E560 w/ Samsung 860 500GB SSD. Laptop boots fine about 10 times in a row and then blue screens and won't recognize the 860 as a boot device. The OS is still there. I've updated all the firmware and drivers. Anyone else have this issue?
next time run samsung magician.. the ssd may be going bad
Echo David's suggestion.

Magician shows the drive is good, firmware is latest AHCI is activated, trim enabled rapid mode is off.
If the drive is under warranty get it replaced as it is failing.. I had a drive 1 week out of warranty that would disappear every once in a while and I had to do a shutdown and restart to get it recognized again (a restart would still have it unrecognized)
post the dmp file please, find it in windows\minidumps

David:
i've replaced the drive with a second drive i had on the shelf. Same issue.
Nobus:
It doesn't leave a mini dump. Wish it would!

Check the drive by attaching it to another system, if it checks out, your issue is with Sata controller/connector, mb...
When attach the second drive, new or previously used?
Does it have an OS, this off the shelf, might be a drive ..
Testing the drive could shed light

Nobus: Yes. It gets the blue screen on boot so no mini-dump.
Arnold: Second drive was new. i'll see if i can recreate the issue on another laptop. Might be hard w/different hardware

Get memtest and boot from cd, run memory test, sounds like you have memory issues.
