GIF Image in oracle report 11g

I had this question after viewing REP-62204: Internal error writing the image BandCombine: a row of the matrix does not have the correct number of entries.

the image files that were created by an adobe application and converted to gif later is not abled to extract by oracle reports 11g
what to do?

I don't have a solution for you, but I like this suggestion that was in the link you referred to: "I usually save new versions every time I change something [in Oracle Reports]". I haven't done much Oracle Reports recently, but some years ago, when I did a lot of Oracle Reports development I was careful to always do a "save as" with a new name. Then only after I tested the change and confirmed that it worked as intended, did I go back and save it in the standard name of the report I was working on.

I usually managed to avoid having to include images in the reports I worked on, so I have very little experience with images in Oracle Reports.

Are you able to use OUTPUTIMAGEFORMAT=GIF as a parameter when generating the report?
