Does ILM / Disney protect their IP ruthlessly?

Hi
If I decide to do a blog that is Sci-Fi / gamers discussion and such,
will Disney / ILM / Lucasfilm send Imperial droids after me for the following on my blog...
- using Star Wars font with the long footed 'S' - There are StarWars Font sheets on Google
- discussing their characters, - eg. the need for Rose, or Leia flying through space as if on Ex
- using images of X - wings or Chewey or yes,  ! Jar Jar ! The battle of Hoth?
-
I will need Adsense spaces

Is ILM still an entity?
Are their lawyers vindictive? I presume so.

Thanks

Fan Fiction seems to have ads on their page here

Are they partnered with ILM? It is not on an ILM URL

There are many fan fiction and discussion sites.
Do you think they experienced difficulties?

Here is a Star Wars fan fiction site.
They have ads in the columns and content!

here

Do you suspect they experienced hassles?
The fact that they still exist bodes well for fan fiction.
Mine will be fan-fiction / opinion oriented.

This page states that a Font can not be copyrighted by US law here

I'm feeling confident that as long as I and my users stay within the spirit of Star Wars with no disrespect, we'll be okay.

To be absolutely safe, I'll get my image people (ImageMonster) here to do a STAR WARS ( mine isn't star wars, but close ) word in a similar yellow on black font, that isn't identical, but in the same spirit. I don't think anyone will really care if it isn't identical. They can't copyright words disappearing into the background, can they? on the intro? or the introductory paragraph rising up?
