Need to convert MP3 to text on a Mac

I can swear I did this on my Mac but I need to use an MP3 file as the source

Can anyone remind me what built-in Mac functionality there is?

I need MP3 as the source.

Thanks

You might be able to use the dictation tool to do it.  https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202584

Otherwise, install soundflower and audacity installed.  Both are open source.  http://www.showcasemarketing.com/ideablog/transcribe-mp3-audio-to-text-mac-os/

You could also just load it online. https://www.ofoct.com/audio-converter/audio-to-text.html

You may be thinking of something in reverse.
You can add to iTunes as spoken text.  You used to have to enable it, but I think it's enable by default now.
