Single Board Computer w/ChromeOS and Central Management

FlintOS on ASUS Tinker Board provides a good ChromeOS experience however we have run into a brick wall hoping to enroll as a device on Google Management Console (G-Suite). "Oops! The system failed to determine device model or serial number" is the message we get. The environment is K12 school district where budget constraints are always present. Single Board Computers could be an alternative to Chromebooks if they can be centrally managed.  If not Google Management Console (G-Suite) then something else?

Since Neverware purchased FlintOS, the likelihood of FlintOS Cockpit becoming reality is probably a slim chance.  Neverware has a Cloudready license model however their hardware compatibility list does not include Single Board Computers.  Smart move buying an open source company in order to keep their business model viable.
Looks like Chromebit is the best option unless we move to PiNET with a group of Raspberry Pi's.  That link to FlintOS Cockpit details information with no further development due to FlintOS company buyout.
