Duplicate IP on VLAN

good day all,

I have an issue where my core switch with all my VLANs Sub interfaces assigned, in the logs i am getting  the below from one of my VLANs

"W 06/06/18 14:03:15 02581 ip: IPv4: Duplicate IPv4 address 10.0.0.250 is
detected on VLAN 6 with a MAC address of XXXXXX-XXXXXX (this mac address is my core switch) (17 times in
            60 seconds)"

I have a trunk link from my core switch to the VLAN in question. I was thinking of changing it to an access port instead as it is the only VLAN i will utilize.

I did on both Subnet VLAN 20 svi (10.0.0.250) and the VLAN 6 (192.168.120.X.) Nothing came up with duplicate addresses.
Try the host network to see if an address there comes up.  Also, maybe trying changing the IP that says it is duplicated.

the IP address is the sub interface on my Core Switch 10.0.0.250 which is the svi for VLAN 20 on this network they have both VLAN 6 which is voice and VLAN20 which is DATA.

please find attached a little diagram that may help

IPv4: Duplicate IPv4 address 10.0.0.250 is detected on VLAN 6

Where is the duplicate IP in your diagram?   Seems like only one.

i don't see a duplicate address when i run the scan on VLAN 20 which is the 10.0.0.X network, VLAN 6 has the ip scheme of 192.168.120.x
My experience is that smart devices like iPhones grab IP address as soon as another device leaves. You may have to start disconnecting devices to see if you can find out what is going on.

i don't know how it would as it is outside of the DHCP Scope.

detected on VLAN 6 with a MAC address of XXXXXX-XXXXXX (this mac address is my core switch)

just to mention that the MAC Address there is a conflict with is the core switch MAC address.
Your switches cannot have duplicated MAC addresses. I have not seen this

i ran the command Sh mac-address vlan 6 to see if that mac address is in there and nothing, that specific MAC address is in another VLAN
The only thing I can suggest at this point is give the main boxes different IP addresses and subnets, connect them, make sure no duplicates and then add devices. Make sure devices are set for DHCP.
