DNS/BIND9 load test.

Dear experts,

I am new to the DNS and DNS load test. Now i have task to test Load Test on two BIND9 servers [RHEL6]. I had googled it and i found dnspref is good tool to evaluate throughput and latency. However, I need a script to do this task. I will be very helpful for me if any one share the info.

thanks,
Maddy..

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

dnsperf is targetted at finding a good isp rather than performing a local benchmark of a caching or recursive server. many tools will allow you to capture actual dns traffic and replay the traffic multiple times which is usually closer to a realistic benchmark... what is the context ? ( btw, bind is clearly not the fastest one around )

I am following up on your question.  Do you still need help?

If you solved the problem on your own, would you please post the solution here in case others have the same problem?
