3rd party Surface pro SSD upgrade  vendors.
Anybody know of anybody that can do an upgrade of a 128 gb to a larger SSD reliably and with warranty?

Depends on the version of the Surface Pro
Ifixit has a tear down i.e. SP4 https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Microsoft+Surface+Pro+4+Teardown/51568
It uses a samsung PM871b M2 SSD Drive http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/ssd/client-ssd/

You will need someone that is mechanically inclined

Nobody actually answered the question of referral to a qualified 3rd party to do an upgrade.

You would think somebody would have had the entrepreneurial spirit to this ,but it seems it's just a throw away world these days.

The do it yourself vid's(Surface 3I've seen) ,but don't want to do as there are too many gotcha's when working with heat guns on electronic devices.

I wanted somebody that does lot's and lot's of these as it's kind of like surgery, the more you do ,the less chances of complications arising.

So I'm just gonna close this thread as unanswered.

Question not answered of reliably and with warranty.
we don't know where you live. Telling you of a shop in Outer Mongolia with 6 Week shipping dates when you live in NYC and there are thousands of cellular repair shops that will do it and only warranty their work.  As long as the machine powers up with no errors then their job is done.  Electronic components fail i.e. ssd's Samsung will offer a 3 year replacement warranty. They will not warranty your data or the expertise required to do the replacement.

Pretty obvious I live in the US,but the point being if somebody cracks open a Surface 3 using a heat gun,my biggest concern is they don't break it while they try to do the upgrade(been there done that),hence the warranty

I've got a Lenovo LaVie that the Geek Squad has pretty much ruined and they were an authorized repair depot.
Geek Squad has such a stellar reputation.. Their sales skills matter more than their technical skills. And no it is not obvious that you are in the US. Like your profile though. I could recommend Rossman Repair Group in Manhattan but they are mostly MAC repair shop.  Get a quote from Louis first
