Any recommendations for a good ethical hacker?

Does anyone recommend any good ethical hackers?  I want to ensure that I close any open security issues for my organization and I was thinking of hiring an organization or individual that can provide that service?

Any reputable recommendations?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

When we looked for someone recently, we went with Optiv to test the security of some of our websites. However, their range of services is considerably broader than that. Very professional. However, I won't lie: They aren't going to be the least expensive by any means.

Regardless of who you pick, you need to think of the scope of work you want to have performed. Are we speaking security on your LAN, websites, threats from the outside.....

For now, I'm thinking more just external.  I know there's threats internally, but I think a big threat would be externally for us at this point in time.

May look at HackerOne services which will manage the whitehats for your purpose. Importantly it is the disclosure policy compliance that you a reputable party to watch over them in due diligence. And possibly if you are open to bounty program mansged by HackerOne to leverage on the pool of selected whitehats.
Btw - Don't go with SHI. I know for several services related to web security at least, it's actually another company that does the work.
