"Send" a document (word or excel) to outlook client give error "General mail failure. Quit Microsoft (Excel), restart the mail system and try again."
I just got a new windows 10 prof computer. I installed MS Office prof plus 2016 x64. When I try to "Send as attachment" a document (word or excel) to my outlook client (backend by exch 2013), I get an error dialog, "General mail failure. Quit Microsoft (Excel), restart the mail system and try again." This of course did not work.
Suggestions, Please.
thanks
Wayne

Have you tried creating a new, clean Outlook profile and making that your default, then test again? Question - is this on-prem Exchange or hosted/Office 365? Have you tried checking and/or disabling add-ins in Outlook to see if they're interfering?

Actually had to have MS support run command line code to correct. Appreciate the many attempts to assist. Thank you.
