Mantis BT Lost Your Password notification email
Hi Experts,
I recently took over a Mantis Bug Tracker system version 1.2.0 (Schema182) and found one issue with "Lost your password" email notification.
All other notifications such as when creating a new ticket, sending a reminder and so on work good but when I select "Lost your password" at a logon page and type in the ID and registered email address then "Submit", I get no email.
The SMTP server is our internal one and the working notificaitons are all being delivered through that. I just in case restarted the SMTP server but didn't solve the issue.
I truly appreciate if anyone knows where to look into?

Hi,
Mantis had several issue about this
https://www.mantisbt.org/bugs/view.php?id=11394
One of the issue was Lost password email not sent when user language is invalid
Maybe try using a newest version 2.15 (always make full backup file and DB prior any update)

Hi lanamtl,
Thank you for the information. I did not know about it.
So your recommendation is to simply upgrade it to the newest version rather than digging deeper troubleshooting?

I checked the smtp logs and I found no record of my test Password Reset request on lost_pwd.php page coming through.
I checked config_inc.php and confirmed the email address is the one used for the working notifications. Do we have a separate configuration for the Lost Password notification?
