Angular IDE

I am interested to know which IDE experts uses for Angular development. I have been back and forth between VS Code and paid version of web storm. While I like the look and feel for VS code, web storm is predictable as in things work when you expect them to vs VS Code.

Opinion thoughts?

I use VS Code developing angular. I have installed serveral plugins for VS Code.
I have installed the following plugins.
  • Typescript: Syntax for typescript
  • TSLint
  • Angular Language Service

The rest is done with the angular-cli and some additional nodejs modules you can install via npm.

If you install the chrome debugger plugin in vs code you can debug the angular application directly in vs code. You can set break points an execute the application step by step.

I never used web storm so I can't say anything about that.
Hi Dev,

I am using VS Code and Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 (Community Edition Which is Free) for Angular Development. I don't face any issue on this two IDE. I strongly recommend VS Code for the development because it was lite weight and easy to work all developers.
