Juniper has a very had learning curve...
and is by far not as secure as the SonicWall.

why would you want to switch?

Management has spent much money on same so that's why they want to use it.
Good luck...

Like I said, Juniper has a very steep learning curve.. All there documentation is CLI driven
Not looking for points but I agree with J Spoor, SonicWALL is much more secure. You need to have management take a look at the recent events (real world scenarios) where SonicWALL outperformed the rest of the competition. I'm thinking of all the NHS sites in the UK that were hit by Ransomware - they all went down except the sites that had SonicWALLs. I don't think there is a competitor that can match up to their encrypted inspection, Machine Learning & AI, and their Virtualized-Multi-Engine Network Sandbox. Ask the competition if they can block Ransomware, Zero-Day/Unknowns, Spectre/Meltdown & Fileless Malware at the gateway BEFORE it reaches your network?

Best of luck!

P.S. Management is making a mistake and basing their security decisions solely on financial motives rather than on risk mitigation.
You can find configuration guide etc:
Configure Chassis Cluster (High Availability) on the High-End SRX devices: SRX1400, SRX3400, SRX3600, SRX5400, SRX5600, SRX5800

Here are just some links present on link above:
Deployment Guide for SRX Series Services Gateways in Chassis Cluster Configuration
Active/Passive Chassis Cluster Deployments

PS
I hope that you have at least some basic general JunOS knowledge (JNCIA-Junos level). :)
Junos SRX firewall also has GUI (not sure about SRX 3400), which can help you.

@Blue Street Tech, Thank you for providing valuable feedback. Further can you please provide me more details to compare in the aspect of security and reliability to choose the best one. 8-9 points will help me to present good strength of Sonicwall.
