RAID Controller on Dell MD 3260
Hello Experts,
We have a Dell MD3260 storage array. on one of the two raid modules has a error battery status "Not Available". The battery has been replaced multiple times and this error still remains. No amber lights are lit on the raid controller. Could it be the raid module its self that is the issue?
Thank you,
GTS

Run a manual learn cycle.
From a machine with MDSM on it.
CD C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\MD Storage Manager\Client\
SMCLI
set storageArray learnCycleDate daysToNextLearnCycle=0 time=HH:MM;
May also be worth resetting the install date
reset storageArray batteryInstallDate controller= (0 | 1)
StorageArray is the name of the MD3xxx

Andyalder,
Do those need to be run from command line?
Do those need to be run from command line?
Might be exposes in the MDSM GUI inder tools, there's a lot that's only available through CLI though.

But let me ask you, is the RAID embedded with the motherboard or its an external adapter?
