Hack my own Wi-Fi?

Hi,

I d like to see how good my Wi-Fi is protected so how can I test this and see what would happen when somebody could get connected to my Wi-Fi (what he could see/do)?

That way I could take countermeasures.

First thing to do is go into your router and make sure that you have the latest firmware installed - if it is no longer supported then the chances are that you are extremely vulnerable to attack, in which case I would buy a new router. Once an attacker is in your router, there are all sorts of things they can do, not least is to route all your DNS to a hostile one that presents fake pages for credential stealing.

Many of the most recent vulnerabilites do not require the remote attacker to get your Wifi password, and they can be sitting anywhere in the world, let alone outside your house :)
Thanks and good luck with your testing.
