asked on

office, desktops,

If we use shared computer activation for office 2016

is it expected to make that change on the local machine to add anything to the local installation? Or does the activation take place from the user profile standpoint? Would that be saved? Would a user be prompted to log back in after the machine was rebooted.

we are currently using E3 proplus 365 license for users.

one expert suggested that shared computer activation is not suitable for non persistence desktops?

you need to educate / inform the users about the reactivation issue as reactivation should be done after a few trials according to the above link but it is annoying as the latency (the time gap to get reactivation done might not be tolerable from the perspective of your users.) "

So long as the RDS server has reliable internet access, SCA should work on Office 2013/2016.- why the user will have latency issue?
