Hi Lucky!

Is this issue happening to all of your computer  or just to a specific one ?  Check out the accepted solution for this question that is very similar to yours,
https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/27034285/SCCM-Asset-Intelligence-Reports-Not-Working.html

Hope this helps.
Hi,

Actually, not all users except some exceptional users having this kind of issues.

What is the user log to check for software / hardware inventory after triggered a action cycle on user PC. CCM\logs

Where to check for the license at SCCM server and how does client detect or not having a license issue?

Taken this log from InventoryProvider.log. What does it mean below.
<![LOG[PopulateInstance - Requested instance not found.]LOG]!><time="10:47:46.703-480" date="06-29-2018" component="InventoryProvider" context=""

Tks.

You will need to look at the AppDiscovery.log on the client computer . IT records details about the discovery or detection of applications on client computers.
What version of SCCM are you using?
Is the client machine able to talk to the SCCM Server ?
Forgot to mention that if other clients work, have you tried re installing the agent  on the client machine that is having the issue? Was the client working before and randomly stop? Also check the server logs to make sure there are no issues being generated on the server side not just the client.
1. Attached client AppDiscovery.log => how to determine whether client having issue to connect back to SCCM Server?
2. 2012 SCCM SP2, Console Version: 5.0.8239.1302 & Site Version is 5.00.8239.1000
3. checked user laptop > control panel > configuration manager > version is 5.00.8239.1000
4. Yes, able to ping to client.
5. Yes, tried reinstalled the agent manually from \\hqad\netlogon\sccm2012client\i386\ccmsetup.msi as the agent didn't install automatically from GPO policy. I've tried to do a gpupdate /force or restart the client PC or waited for 2 days but the GPO didn't pushed down the agent to install the configuration manager.
6. I am not too sure whether it is working before because i just newly join this company as a system administrator. Maybe you can advice me how to check the log on client or sccm server?
7. Can you tell me exactly what kind of logs  are require and how to read the logs so that i can understand better?

Tks.

Lucky
