Office 365 to Exchange On-Premise migration.

First time migrating from Office 365 back to Exchange 2016 On-Premise, any tips?  My first thought would be to backup all the O365 mailboxes to PST and do an Import-Mailbox for each user.  It may take longer but I think it's the solution w/ the least amount of questions.  Any suggestions, tips, advice?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It's not necessary to backup the mailboxes to pst first. That is definitely going to be a waste of time. If you setup as a hybrid environment then migrating  back on-prem will be a breeze. I would first test 1 mailbox migration so that you can see how it works and then you should be good to go.
