Problem printing two half-pages on one side of the paper.
Problem printing two half-pages on one side of the paper.
I am creating a flier that is 5.5 X 8.5, two sided, and wanted to use Word to force myself to make two halves on the page. That works and is done.
But, I am having trouble printing it. I want both sides on the single side, side-by-side, of a Letter sides page. Then I can flip the printed pages and pass is through the printer again, and print it a second time with the same Word document.
How do I do this?
I hope I do not need to lay this out again.
I would consider printing each page to a PDG then using Adobe Acrobat CC to merge into the two into one document.
Can anyone help explain my options?
Thanks.

Have you found the booklet option in your printer settings?

There does not seem to be in a Xerox 6022
The Phaser 6022 is a rather simple printer, and the data sheet does not mention booklet printing. I can see 2 possibilities, neither of them simple.
1. The one you mentioned in your question: print to PDF and get Acrobat to print 2 pages per sheet.
2. Create a new 2-column landscape Word doc. Copy the contents of your 2 pages and paste one per column

These are not images, they are 5.5 X 8.5 formatted on Word, two of them.
I have create a work-around that works, but does not involve Word.
1) I max the side of Word and the document to show everything in the largest font possible. Then, I display Multiple Pages. In my case, there are two.
2) I take a screen shot of the selected are inside the borders.
3) I use Paintbrush (on Mac) to delete the dark spine down the center of the page.
4) I print the page
5) I remove the sheet, flip it over, and re-insert.
6) Print a second time and then cut the page.
This works, but I presume there is an easier way to use Word for everything.
Thanks
