Create ova from vmdk and/or vhd to run vms on Synology?
Hi,
I have a Synology with vmm, so like to import my vmware and hyper v vms on it.
If I m right, I could import ova files.
Is there a way to convert my vms in ova?

It s not a vm.in vsphere.
where is the VM then ?
because you state ?
are you sure you can use VMware vSphere and Hyper-V VMs, and they do not have to be converted ?

I am sorry I miss read ,
You need to import VM in Synology right ?
Since Synology would only allow you ova , ovf file. first you need to export the VM in you Vsphere environment to OVA/ovf and then you may import the same in Synology vmm.
All you require to create VMM image , from selecting the source as .vmdk or for hypervisor .vhd. then perform import from the disk.
I hope this helps.

Thanks, that's quite a procedure however without a guarantuee I'll succeed to convert my vmware vm to a synology vm.
Won't try it right away, hope that convertors will come along (from Synology) but if not, I'll give it a shot.

If you obtain the drivers required by Synology VMM, e.g. storage and network interface, that's all that is required, to convert an image to effectively bare metal!
You can export to ovf format , please check below doc.
