Assign permanent drive letter to SATA port, rather than the removable drive

I have 4 hot swap drive bays (connected to SATA ports on motherboard) installed in my PC.  I am looking for help on how to assign a permanent drive letter to each SATA port that are being used such that no matter what hard drive or sequence that I plug them in, a given bay / port will maintain the same drive letter.  I have used the Windows feature of assigning a permanent drive letter when drives are inserted, but that only links a particular hard drive to that letter, and not the SATA port.  So if I insert disk 1, and assign letter F, then no matter what slot I insert into that drive will be F.  Instead, I want a particular slot to be assigned a permanent letter( i.e. SATA1 is always F, SATA2 is G, etc).  Is there a way to do this in WIndows 7 settings or possibly some third party application that can be installed to manage this?  Thanks
