Cannot configure users signature in Office H&B 2013. Click on Signature and nothing happens.

Cannot configure users signature in Office H&B 2013. Hope I won't need to re-image a new computer from Dell with the bloated Office 365 software installed. We didn't order MS Office we need to run Office H&B 2013 due to our version of exchange server. Installed Office 2013 and first it installed in the wrong location, never seen this before. Searched for Outlook.exe and was under the users profile in the AppData\Roaming folder. Strange. I uninstalled Office 2013 and ran the Office removal tool, restarted and installed Office 2013 again. First thing I noticed was the installation was nearly instant which makes me believe it wasn't fully uninstalled. Everything appears fine however the signature block just spins when clicked on. I disabled additional plug-ins and it didn't make a difference. Worth noting Office 2010 was installed at one point before realizing Office 2013 is recommended. I thought the office removal tool would clean up the bloated office 365, 2010, and 2013.

you can check if you are able to set up the signature using OWA, if all good in OWA this probably is an office program issue, consider a reinstall or repair.....

Nice, never thought of this. Great idea I'll try it and let you know how it goes.
Won't copy the image over so it's not an option. Text works fine.
Since this involves a new Dell computer, the most likely cause is a conflict with the Office Store edition pre-installed by Dell. What you're describing is a known issue with older Office 365 versions being installed (both '2013 & '2016). The problem has been rectified with current click to run release of Office 365.

To resolve the problem, go to Settings --> Apps --> Apps & Features --> look for Microsoft Office Desktop Apps in the list --> click on it --> uninstall.

When the above is done, open Control Panel and do a repair of your Office 2013 install. Suggest you do a complete online repair. It takes longer but is more complete. When done, you should be good to go.
