Error when trying to convert VMWare VM to Hyper-V server
Hi,I am getting an error "The operating system of the VMware VM is NOT SUPPORTED. This does not prevent conversion, but no support is provided for this conversion" when trying to convert VMWare VM running Windows 10 OS to MS HyperV Server using Microsoft Virtual Machine Converter program.
Is Windows 10 OS not supported by Microsoft Virtual Machine Converter program?

what version of the converter are you running? Seems to be supported in version 3

Please note: converters don't do anything special. You could as well use an image backup program and restore the image to the virtual machine. Did that very often.
They inject the storage controller drivers required by the Hypervisor so it can boot!

Be aware that usually, these drivers are not even needed. Did it dozens of times, never a problem
