Cannot register sonicwall or reach certain sites

Just upgraded a client from XFINITY internet to Hargray fiber.  The password to the sonicwall got lost so we reset the sonicwall to factory and set it back up with the new PPPOE settings for Hargray.  Everything seemed to be working fine until hours later when employees started having issues with a few certain websites.

Cannot reach some websites.  The main ones I have found are AOL.com, the local Tax Assessor website, and XFINITY email.

AOL.com and the Tax Assessor site gives : This site can't be reached ERR_TIMED OUT

XFINITY Email gives :  This site can't provide a secure connection    ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

Another issue I noticed after looking at their issues is that I can't get the sonicwall to register.  When I click Update your registration button, it will not connect.  It also says in the Status at the bottom:  Dynamic Update Connection Failure Detected.  Please refresh to re-activate dynamic updates.

Mysonicwall.com shows the device as offline.  It's like it can't connect back to the site.

It seems like content filtering is enabled, and it is blocking those sites, including updates from sonic wall itself.

Made sure Content Filtering was off and it is.  Also temporarily disabled all other security services and same issue.

Set to Google DNS and same issue.

Upgraded to current firmware version, same issue.

PPPOE is connecting fine and we can browse tons of other websites with no issues.

I am going to go Monday with another router and test like masnrock suggested and I will post back.  Thanks guys!
Also make sure all versions of TLS are enabled on the systems. PCI required the elimination of TLS 1.0, so be sure that 1.1 and 1.2 aren't turned off within the internet settings.
Just a foot note even though content filtering is disabled the content or website is still blocked you will have to clear cache in browser and the dns cache also
Did you have any luck?
We didn't have a lot of time to play with it so we put in another router and it worked fine.  Has to be a SonicWall issue so we will call SonicWall when we get back up there one day and have some time.  Thanks guys for the help.
