Windows 10 PC is showing time that is 1 hour behind actual time.
Hi Experts,

I just noticed that my Windows 10 PC is showing time that is 1 hour behind actual time.

Here are my settings:

Date and time
11:08 AM, Friday, July 6, 2018
Set time automatically On
Set time zone automatically 0n

Time zone
(UTC+10:00) Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney      v
Adjust for daylight saving time automatically • On

My internet connection is OK.

Regards,
Leigh

Boot into the system BIOS and set the clock from there.

As others suggested, sync your system date/time task bar, or update your clock manually.

Commonly, if drift is larger then 30 minutes, the automated sync will not update.
Using an external ntp source as referenced in an earlier comment shoukd maintain the time within range of current.....

I forgot to mention that the resync interval must be changed using regedit.

Mal is 100% right on that one.  Allowing Windows to guess the time zone is not a great idea by Microsoft, considering that geolocation can think you're on the other side of the planet.

Are you in the Aest time zone?
Canberra, Sydney, melbourne area?

Hi everyone,

Thanks for you suggestions.

The time is now correct - without me doing anything (perhaps I rebooted?)

I will award points soon...

Regards,
Leigh
