Paperport Pro 14.5 not starting?
I had a HDD crash, and had to reinstall Paperport Pro.
I have tried install PPv14.5, then the patch. Everything seems to be fine, except the program just doesn't run.
When I try to run it, I get the splash screen, then it goes away and nothing.
Any ideas?
I'm running Win10 Pro.

You're welcome, Rick. I'm glad that fixed it for you. If you take a moment to endorse the article by clicking the thumbs-up icon at the bottom of it, I'll appreciate that...it stands at 11 endorsements now...you'll make it an even dozen! :)
Hi Rick,
I'm pretty sure that you meant to endorse the article, but the thumbs-up button that you clicked above endorsed that comment, not the article. To endorse the article, head on over to it via this link:
https://www.experts-exchange.com/articles/32441/
Scroll down to the end of the article (not to the reader comments) and you'll see a thumbs-up icon on the left side that currently has the number 11 in it. Of course, it could be 12 or higher by the time you get there. :) That's the thumbs-up that you need to click to endorse the article. Thanks!

The Firefox fix was it, and I rarely even use that browser.
It's amazing that just that little registry entry would screw so much up.
Thank you again for the awesomely quick response !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
