Microsoft Office 2013 Outlook BackUp

I use Microsoft Outlook 2013 to connect and read my Gmail account. So therefore, I do not have a PST account for outlook because of this connection.

If I wanted to backup my Outlook emails and contacts to a local drive what do I need to do?

Do I need to create an OST file and back it up to a local drive?

Is this a non issue because the Gmail does all this work for me and therefore I do not need a backup on a local drive.

Where would I look on my "C:" drive to see if I have a backup at this time?

9. Drag and drop your mails Inside the new folder or duplicate the existing OST content in the PST

I do not know from where you do this step?  Where do I select the file from and where do I drag it to? From within outlook 2013 or use file manager to find the files and drag it from there?  To where?

Thanks for your assistance.
From the GMAIL box tree in outlook to the PST tree. Could I have your screen display after creating the PST

Good in the left panel,

Reduce all items and then you will see a new items with the name Lad Backup 07062018.

So you can choose 1 of 2 ways to backup your mails

1. select the mails you want to bkp
2. right click on it
3. go to move
4. select copy in the folder (The select Lad Backup 07062018)

or

1. select the mails you want to bkp
2. drag it on Lad Backup 07062018
3. drop it
Perfect. This was very helpful.

Thanks for your assistance.
